I am a highly motivated young professional interested in figuring out how urban policy can leverage market forces to solve environmental and social challenges. With this in mind, I am pursuing a career in sustainability/resiliency planning.
I recently completed an intensive summer program in sustainable city planning at UC Berkeley's College of Environmental Design and am currently looking for a position that will give me valuable experience while making use of my professional communication, graphic design, and GIS skills.
Previously I worked as a marketing assistant in the San Francisco office of PAE, a cutting edge sustainable mechanical and electrical engineering firm, acting as the office's marketing contact, responding to RFPs, conducting market research, and helping secure projects with Facebook, Stanford, and others.
I am a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor's in Global & International Studies and a Minor in Business Communication. I also studied abroad for 6 months at the University of Delhi in India. During college I interned with multiple sustainable technology incubators and socially responsible investment firms conducting market research and producing PR materials. After graduation I spent a year teaching English in Thailand and traveling through Southeast Asia.
My hobbies include playing drums, waterskiing, snowboarding, backpacking, SCUBA diving, traveling, and watching every documentary I can get my hands on.
All photos on this website were taken by me during my travels through India, Thailand, and the rest of South Asia.
